I’m constantly asked for new ways to raise money for nonprofits.

And  I will always respond that there is no better way to extend an opportunity to invest than through good old relationship-based fundraising.   I will also tell you that a variety of approaches, through various channels, will likely serve you well and improve your odds of long-term sustainability.

So I want to be sure you know that YouTube now has donation cards.  When you add one to your nonprofit’s video, viewers can donate directly from it.  Right after they see your compelling video with amazing personal impact stories and beautiful images, they can immediately act to support your cause!

And Google pays the processing fees.  So if someone invests $50, you get $50.  Not a bad donor acquisition strategy, eh?

I’ll cut this short here so you can go read about these donation cards and decide if they fit into your overall development strategy.  Really….start reading and I’ll be back in two weeks.
